Dental Hygienist

Debbie joined the Hines Family team in August of 2023 after working as a dental hygienist in community health for the majority of her career. Her dedication to serving the community led to her crossing paths with Dr. Hines while working together at our local community health center. Dr. Hines noted her experience, her welcoming and compassionate personality, and her team focused attitude during their time together at the community center. We are thrilled to announce that Debbie is now part of the Hines Family! Our patients have had incredibly positive feedback on her welcoming personality and gentle touch. Outside of work, Debbie values time with her husband, going on long walks, and spending quality time with her family. Welcome to the team, Debbie!

Charles

Dental Hygienist

Charles joined the Hines Family team in October of 2023. Charles has been a registered dental hygienist since graduating from Catawba Valley Community College in 2006. He also has an AAS in Photography Technology from McDowell Tech. Charles, originally from Hickory, NC, started his dental career on the Outer Banks. He made his way back to where folks reflected his native accent. Charles is a single father of an exceptional teenager and resides in Ashe County, NC. He enjoys keeping up with professional Carolina teams, with his favorites being the Panthers, Hurricanes, and Hornets. He loves playing disc golf, bowling and various musical instruments. Charles is a patient favorite and provides thorough, yet gentle dental cleanings. He loves to entertain his patients and provide a relaxed experience. We are THRILLED to have Charles on the team!

Emily

Front Desk

Emily graduated from Appalachian State University in 2021 with a degree in Exercise Science. Emily enjoys all things outdoors, with her favorites being rock climbing, going to the river, and spending lots of time outdoors with her beloved dog, Max. She also loves her cat, Mimzy, mountain biking and going out on Watauga Lake. Emily has a passion for animals and has had many exotic animals throughout her life. Emily enjoys speaking to patients and problem-solving any situation that comes up to help patients have the easiest and best experience when coming to Hines Family Dentistry. We are THRILLED to have Emily on the team!

Danielle

Office Manager

Danielle has been in the healthcare field for over 10 years and decided to come on full-time as the Office Manager after Dr. Hines took over the practice from Dr. Graham in 2023. Danielle is working to incorporate top-of-the-line technology and practice-management software, while also focusing on creating a work environment that keeps our staff engaged and excited! Danielle graduated from App State in 2012 and married Dr. Hines that same year. Danielle and Dr. Hines are high-school sweethearts and are both from Charlotte, NC. Their time spent here in Boone during college allowed them to fall in love with the High Country and made the decision of where they wanted to raise their family an easy one. Danielle and Dr. Hines have 2 young boys, Danny and Riley, and a pack of dogs. Danielle loves spending time with her friends and family, traveling, anything outdoors and has a special spot for live music.

Annie

Dental Assistant

Annie is the newest member of the Hines Family Team and brings years of experience and expertise with her. She fits right in with the crew and has proven to be well versed with her dental assisting skills and ability to ease anxiety for our patients. Patients have had wonderful things to say about her expertise and personality and she has proved to be an excellent team player. Outside of work, Annie and her husband enjoy working on their home renovations and spending time with their sons who both happen to be up-and-coming musicians. Welcome to the team, Annie!

Bella

Dental Assistant & Front Office

Bella joined the Hines Family Team in the Summer of 2023 after completing the Dental Assisting program at OP Smiles. Bella is currently in school with goals of becoming a Dental Hygienist in the next few years. She has jumped right in and offers skills both chairside and at the front desk. She enjoys talking with our patients, filling the schedule, working on our chart conversions and implementing new processes around the office. We are thrilled to have had Bella join the team and hope that she will eventually become a Hines Family Hygienist after she completes Dental Hygiene school. Bella loves country music and going to concerts. spending quality time with her family and friends, loving on her dog and enjoying all the things that the High Country has to offer. Welcome to the team, Bella!
